At Kwa Madwala we are delighted to be able to offer a choice of four very unique ceremonies for your special day. Each in its own way is a very treasured and magical experience that will make your union one never to be forgotten.

Our on site dedicated wedding team are extremely experienced at providing the attention to detail needed to ensure everything possible is thought of and discussed with you at length.

Manyatta Rock Camp Weddings

Manyatta Rock Camp is possibly one of the most romantic locations in all of Africa. There are breathtaking views of the Lebombo mountains as far as the eye can see and the bush surrounds you.

The camp provides an ultimate fully inclusive safari destination with four star accommodation, a bridal suite, superb service, delicious cuisine and exceptional encounters with wildlife.

• The entire camp can be booked for a minimum of a two night stay. This is for a maximum of 54 people, 62 if the Kingfisher camp is also used.

• The accommodation rate which will be quoted upon request will be per person per night sharing which will include breakfast and lunch and one game drive daily and the wedding dinner. The bar will be charged separately.

• A 50% supplement would apply for single guests in a room.

• The wedding ceremony can take place in either the Manyatta Rock Camp itself or if you prefer in the river bed or in the middle of the bush at no extra charge.

African Elephant Weddings

Our domesticated African elephants Tswale and Modjadji provide a unique elephant experience as part of our bush weddings which have proved very successful and popular in our ‘Out Of Africa’ theme and give a spectacular touch to many of our weddings at Kwa Madwala.

These gentle giants play a major part in the ceremony performing many romantic tasks which include:

• The bride and groom can arrive at the ceremony on the backs of the elephants
• The elephants create the shape of a heart over the bride and groom with their trunks while the marriage ceremony is taking place
• One of the elephants will then deliver the ring to the bride

The elephants provide a wonderful photographic opportunity both during and after the actual ceremony and are also available as a presence at the weddings that take place at the Manyatta Rock Camp, in the river bed and in the bush.

River Bed Weddings

The dry river bed provides tranquillity and exquisite sunsets to make your bush wedding a memorable and unique experience. A wedding gazebo can be created in the river bed.

Unless you wish to book the entire Manyatta Rock Camp river beds weddings will be quoted as a venue hire with guests being able to choose accommodation options as follows

• Stay at other accommodation in the surrounding area
• Stay at Manyatta Rock Camp
• Stay at Kingfisher Bush Camp
• Stay at Gazebo Game Lodge
• Use any of our wedding locations just for the day without accommodation options

The use of a marquee for the reception and wedding dinner is highly recommended during the hot summer months.

Bush Weddings

We offer a remarkable and very wonderful wedding venue in the middle of the very beautiful Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve which guarantees a unique ambience filled with serenity and tranquillity for your special day.

Unless you wish to book the entire Manyatta Rock Camp bush weddings will be quoted as a venue hire with guests being able to choose accommodation options as follows

• Stay at Manyatta Rock Camp
• Stay at Kingfisher Bush Camp
