Meaning "place of the rock" in the local Swazi tongue, Kwa Madwala lies on the southern side of Kruger National Park and is home to our fabulous Manyatta Rock Camp , Gazebo Game Lodge and the exclusive little family Kingfisher Bush Camp which is a self-catering camp with fully catered options. Safari Options

Kwa Madwala is one of the few places on earth that offers Elephant Back Safaris , Microlight Safaris , as well as Horse Back Safaris and a range of the best combination of game viewing experiences all on site in the reserve.

Using open four wheel drive vehicles, our specially trained rangers take guests on safari drives in the Kwa Madwala reserve, the Greater Kruger concession area adjacent to our northern border, and the standard Kruger experience , as well as night drives and walking safaris which should not be missed.

Breathtaking birds-eye views can also be enjoyed on our aerial safari flights (Microlight safaris), which take in the reserve plus the southern border of Kruger National Park.

Enviable Location

Our enviable location close to Swaziland, Mozambique and Kruger National Park affords the chance for visitors to explore the diversity of this region. A range of guided day and half-day excursions are offered from any of the camps and we recommend a minimum four night stay to fully appreciate the reserve and surrounding areas.

Meeting the requirements of the President's award and serving as a residential project if the 3 night conservation programme is combined with the community development programme (5 nights) .
