Below are our 2008 programme prices based in UK Sterling and valid for all 2008 departures. These prices are a guide and we reserve the right to reduce or increase prices if necessary. The price we confirm to you is the price you will pay and we will never change a confirmed price.
Please remember these are "land only" prices and exclude airfares to / from Johannesburg, travel insurance and any visas. Prices for 2009 can be requested.
All our prices include: all accommodation at Kwa Madwala and off property as necessary, all transport on and off the reserve, weekly laundry, all meals, snacks, hot drinks and fruit squashes, all tuition, all entrance fees, equipment such as tents, arrival and departure airport transfers, visits by outside experts to the reserve.

Important: flights to Johannesburg tend to be overnight so you will need to depart the UK and other European departure points the day before the "Arrival" day shown above. i.e to arrive 14 Jan one has to fly outbound on the evening of the 13th.
The terms and conditions shown below will apply to your
conservation experience placement with Kwa Madwala Private Game
Reserve, South Africa. Please read them carefully, as your
booking contract will be bound by them. If you have any queries
please contact us before committing to one of our programmes.
1. Volunteers applying for a placement must complete a booking
form and accept the terms of these booking conditions. You are
also required to pay a deposit for each placement. On receipt of
your Application Form will send through a conformation and
deposit invoice which must be settled within 14 days.
2. It is the volunteers responsibility to ensure they have a
current passport, which is valid until at least 6 months beyond
your departure date. Any applicable visas must be obtained in
advance of travel.
3. Travel insurance is a mandatory requirement for all
volunteers, with adequate cover for all placement activities. For
volunteers aged 70 years and over, a medical certificate will be
required from your doctor at least 8 weeks prior to departure
stating that you are fit enough to undertake the proposed
placement.
4. The balance of the cost of the placement must be paid by 8
weeks prior to the start date of the booked programme which will
be shown on your invoice. Those booking within 8 weeks of travel
must be the full amount at the time of booking. If the balance is
not paid in a timely manner we reserve the right to cancel your
placement and or retain your deposit.
5. You may cancel your placement with Kwa Madwala Private Game
Reserve at any time providing that the cancellation is made to us
in writing. Cancellations incur administrative costs and we might
not be able to fill the resulting vacancy. We will therefore
retain your deposit and in addition may apply cancellation
charges up to the maximum limits shown below.

price
Cancellation notified 55 - 29 days before departure 60% of total
price
Cancellation notified 28 - 15 days before departure 80% of total
price
Cancellation notified 14 - 0 days before departure 100% of total
price
6. If a volunteer has a complaint during their placement, please
inform our Gap year Co-ordinator and Gap Year Ranger immediately
who will endeavour to speedily correct matters.
7. Please note that we cannot guarantee all placement activities
listed within any Kwa Madwala promotional material or website,
due to local or unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control.
Occasionally activities are completed in a different order but
rarely are we unable to provide all the placement activities.
8. Should Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve cancel your booked
programme we will return your deposit and any other monies paid
at that time.
9. We will not divulge any of your personal information and we will never pass your details onto any other organisation. Data Protection laws require Kwa Madwala to obtain your permission to communicate your personal details to our offices in South Africa and also your contact details to other participants on your booked programme. Please indicate on your booking form if your object to your personal information being communicated in the above way.
