Children at Manyatta

Children are very welcome at Manyatta. However, please be aware there are only a limited number of rooms which provide a living room with an additional sofa bed which are able to sleep two children or one additional adult.

Please request a family room in advance as we only have seven of these rooms available.

Alternatively we can accommodate children in rooms next door to their parents but would recommend this only for children of 8 years and above.

Please remember this is an unfenced camp in a big game territory and children need to be supervised in a responsible manner at all times.

Prices for children's accommodation

• Children 4 years and under are complimentary
• Children aged between 5 and 12 pay 50% of the Manyatta daily rate.
• Children aged 13 and above pay the full adult daily rate.

A babysitter can be arranged for small children at a small additional cost. This facility should be booked in advance as part of your reservation.

All activities at Manyatta are available for children with the following exceptions:

• Elephant Back Safaris – children of all ages are accepted provided they are accompanied and supervised by their parents at all times and strictly adhere to the safety briefing given by the elephant stable master and his team
• Microlight Safaris – Children aged 6 and above only
• Horse Back Safaris – Children aged 6 and above only

Please note: Activities are charged per person per seat and therefore children and adults pay the same full rate for all activities.
